Can I just say

That I love podcasts.
I may have just realized their fabulousness yesterday, but boy did I.

I don't have an ipod, but rather a zune, which is Microsoft's answer to the ipod, which I have never been happy with, so I'm not sure the similarities/differences between the zune podcasts and ipod podcasts if there are any, so keep that in mind while reading this bizness.

Here are some that I've enjoyed so far
  • Top Choice, by far: NPR Live Concerts from All Songs Considered. OH MY GOODNESS...so great. and so so free (as are all of podcasts, correct? ps. I'm new to these). I have already listened to an Animal Collective concert, Passion Pit concert, Dark Was the Night concert, Sonic Youth concert, am currently listening to a Radiohead performance, and I still have like 100 more to listen to. Amazing. Love it.
  • Video Podcasts: Who What Wear TV (Who What Wear is a fabulous website all on its own and I love their daily e-mails...and I don't love many daily e-mails), Fashion Television, and YDN Design which is a Dutch design podcast about all sorts of design, and I believe they focus a bunch on young up and comers. I admit, I haven't watched any of those yet but it sounds awesome.
  • For Fun: maybe I downloaded a 3 min video made of little snippets of Vince (aka Adrian Grenier) from Entourage. I don't even watch that show (only because of my lack of HBO) but...oh. he is gorgeous. Also, Flight of the Conchords have a few videos, I think there are a couple of their songs and then Mel has a couple video diaries, again-- haven't had time to watch all of these things yet but I doubt I'm going to be disappointed.
That's all I've gotten so far, but I'll keep you posted when I find more amazing things to listen and watch.

PS. I know the links on here don't work sometimes, but they do work the rest of the time... so be patient and try a couple of times or the next day or something. I don't really know how to fix it. And if it means you have to come back and read my blog again the next day, so be it.
